Then 2000
I was 467 lbs and had gastric bypass
(Roux-en-Y) surgery in August of 2000. Back when I first started my journey, there was not much in the way of support like there is nowadays.
I was starving myself with no results, and had an excess of skin. I struggled with many roadblocks such as trying to starve myself for results, excess of skin, developing eating disorders, and an addiction to pills.
After 20 years, I recognized this was not a healthy way to live. I started to focus on eating a calorie surplus and working out to build lean body mass.
By doing this, I discovered a healthy alternative to plastic surgery and that, even though many doctors said otherwise, you truly do not need plastic surgery to help improve loose skin.
I'd love to work with you! If you are interested in talking further or have any questions, please leave me your details in the contact form.
